Lot traceability

Every consignment carries a lot reference. Samples are drawn from the lot you will receive, not from a display sample, so what you approve is what ships.

Where a lot is exhausted mid-relationship we say so and send a fresh sample rather than substituting quietly. Substitution without notice is the single most common complaint in this trade and it is entirely avoidable.

Grading, stated plainly

Saffron is offered as Mongra or Lachha and described as what it is. Neither term is regulated, so we state the grade alongside the laboratory values that make it checkable rather than relying on the name.

Nuts and dried fruit are graded on the measures that actually vary — kernel size and halves-to-pieces for nuts, count per kilogram for dates, diameter for figs — rather than on adjectives.

Terms and paperwork

GST invoicing, agreed payment terms for established accounts, and delivery terms set per consignment. New accounts normally start on advance payment and move to terms once there is a trading history.

Who this suits

Retailers, packers, food service and exporters buying by the kilogram rather than the gram. If you need a few hundred grams, the retail shelves are cheaper for you than a wholesale conversation would be.
